One of the last ocean liners ever built: the SS France was a French passengers ship operated by the Compagnie Générale Transatlantique from 1962 to 1974 and then used as a cruise ship under the name of “Norway” by the Norwegian Cruise Line from 1979 to 2006.

I designed this 1:400 scale replica of the original “France” ocean liner with all the features of the ship as the bow windbreaker (a legacy of the SS Normandie), the stabilizing fins and the unique shape of the two funnels.
This model is mostly made with classic parts such as plates and bricks, it has a lot of tiles and modified / wedge plates and also some technic parts as bars and bar holders. The global style is a mix of Creator / Microscale / Architecture styles that make this model very detailed and realistic.
