This MOC is a 1:450 scale replica of one of the largest container ships class in the world, and also one of the most efficient thanks to its LNG (Liquefied Natural Gas) power plant and an innovative hydrodynamic hull design.
With a lenght of 400 meters (1312 ft) and a width of 61,3 meters (201 ft), Jacques Saadé-class vessels have a capacity of 23.000 TEUs each, 26 crew members and a propeller 10 meters in diameter! The LNG fuel is stored in a 18.600 cubic meters tank at a temperature of -161°C.

This detailed model has two removable sections to show a replica of the LNG tank (below the bridge block) and the engine compartment (below the funnel block).
