The brick version of the iconic Boeing 727 jetliner!
This model is a 1:80 scale replica of one of the very first passenger jet plane produced by Boeing, and in particular of the 727-200 variant with the Northwest Airlines colours.
A total of 1832 of this very successful aircraft were produced for more than 20 years (1962 – 1984) and in four variants; the 727 was the most widespread airliner before the entry into service of another legendary plane, the Boeing 737.
This model is 22 x 16 inches wide and it has 1272 parts, mostly classic bricks, plates, slopes and tiles; I also used some technic parts to make the moving parts such as the landing gears.
The building instructions includes a lot of interesting facts and historical captions that spice up a simple and fun building process.
MOC features:
– Retractable front landing gear
– Retractable main landing gear
– Moving aerodynamic parts of the wings (flaps and ailerons)
– Moving tail stabilizers
