The brick version of the beautiful Boeing 707 jetliner!

This MOC is the 1:80 scale replica of the first Boeing passenger jet plane, and in particular of the 707-420 variant with the Lufthansa colours.
Lufthansa was one of the first operators of this plane, having had 5 of them on their fleet from 1960 to 1977.
This model is 22,4 x 22,7 inches wide and it has 1602 parts, mostly classic bricks, plates, slopes and tiles; I also used some technic parts to make the moving parts such as the landing gears.
The building instructions includes a lot of interesting facts and historical captions that spice up a simple and fun building process.

MOC features:

– Retractable front landing gear
– Retractable main landing gear
– Moving aerodynamic parts of the wings (flaps and ailerons)
– Moving aerodynamic parts of the tail (rudder and elevators)
